Trail report

Ruby Falls is a bucket-list trail for many off-roaders in the region. The route follows the upper reaches of the McLeod River.

You will cross the river over a dozen times. Depending on water levels, these crossings can be treacherous and require a snorkel and raised breathers.

The trail ends with a short hike to Ruby Falls itself, a beautiful multi-tiered cascade. The mud and technical rock steps along the way will put your suspension to the test.

Know before you go
