Trail report

Powderface Trail is not a technical rock-crawling route, but rather a long, unpaved overland journey connecting Highway 66 to the Sibbald Creek Trail.

The road climbs steadily over a pass, providing incredible panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. It's a fantastic, relaxing drive perfect for capturing nature and overland content.

The road is closed in the winter and can be extremely dusty in late summer. Keep an eye out for free-ranging wildlife and oncoming traffic on blind corners.

Know before you go
