About this campsite
Touchwood Lake Campground is located within Lakeland Provincial Recreation Area, approximately 45 km east of Lac La Biche via Highway 881 and an unpaved forestry access road. Set in rolling boreal hills, this rustic site offers 84 unserviced campsites right on the lake.
Touchwood Lake is one of the deepest headwater lakes in the region, drawing anglers for exceptional walleye and northern pike fishing. The campground features a dedicated OHV staging area right outside the campsite boundary, connecting riders to hundreds of kilometers of multi-use boreal trails.
Operated on a first-come, first-served basis, Touchwood offers a classic rustic experience with vault toilets, fire pits, water cisterns, and a boat launch. Perfect for self-contained overlanders seeking off-grid adventure.

Awesome spot if you bring a boat or quad. The gravel road in can get washboarded, but the lake views and fishing make it 100% worth it.
