Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park is situated on Big Island in Lac La Biche, connected to the mainland by a paved causeway 11 km northeast of the town of Lac La Biche. The campground features 72 power-serviced sites surrounded by 300-year-old white spruce and balsam fir forest.

As Alberta's premier island park, visitors can explore 15 km of sandy trails, three distinct sandy beaches (including Camper's Beach), and rental options for canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. The park also features year-round comfort camping cabins on neighboring Long Island.

Facilities include a full campground store, coin-operated showers, laundromat, sani-dump, amphitheatre with interpretive programs, and a public boat launch. Fully reservable online via Reserve Alberta Parks.

A true jewel of Northern Alberta! Camping under 300-year-old trees surrounded by the lake on all sides is magical.
