Situated along the eastern shore of Lac Cardinal, the campground features 56 power and unserviced campsites shaded by dense trembling aspen and spruce trees.

Lac Cardinal serves as a critical staging wetland for over 140 waterfowl species, with adjacent access to the Lac Cardinal Pioneer Village Museum.
