Kinbrook Island Provincial Park is located on the eastern shore of Lake Newell, one of the largest and warmest man-made lakes in Alberta.
Despite being situated in southern Alberta's dry prairie region, the campground features mature cottonwood and willow trees providing ample shade across 160+ sites.
Lake Newell's large expanse makes it a major destination for sailing, motorized watersports, windsurfing, fishing, and observing marshland bird species.
