The Whipsaw Trail Recreation Node is situated along Whipsaw Creek FSR in the high country southwest of Princeton toward Coalmont.

Renowned as British Columbia's premier technical 4x4 overland trail, it crosses alpine meadows, rocky hillclimbs (Falcon Hill), and deep mud pits.

Dispersed Crown land camping nodes along Whipsaw Creek and Wells Lake offer primitive camping under high alpine stars for prepared 4WD rigs.
