Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is one of Vancouver Island's most beloved family destinations, located at the south end of Parksville.
Campsites are nestled beneath a towering canopy of old-growth Douglas fir trees, just steps from a two-kilometer-long stretch of sandy beach where the tide recedes nearly a kilometer at low tide.
Equipped with hot showers, flush washrooms, sani-dump station, electrical hookup loops, and extensive paved walking trails, it provides top-tier frontcountry comfort year-round.

The beach is incredible for young kids when the tide goes out. Huge private campsites under tall fir trees.
