Macdonald Campground is situated on the eastern shore of Muncho Lake, 8 km north of Strawberry Flats along the Alaska Highway.
Offering 15 unserviced sites, many situated right on the cobble shoreline, it features a paved boat launch catering to powerboats and kayaks.
Framed by folded limestone strata of the Terminal Range, it provides spectacular sunrise reflections across the turquoise lake.

Paddled our kayak directly from our tent pad! The limestone mountains reflecting in the jade water were unreal.
